Helping Hercules
A magic coin whisks Susan back in time to Ancient Greece, where she encounters the gods, goddesses and heroes of Greek mythology.
Susan is fed up with her family and hates helping round the house, but she soon finds that helping Hercules clean out the Augean stables is much, much worse than tidying her room. She is drawn into a series of adventures, following Orpheus down into the underworld, helping Paris as he dithers between three angry goddesses, riding the winged horse Pegasus to the home of the gods, and narrowly missing being turned to stone by Medusa.
