Francesca's book borrowed from the library nearly 65,000 times

Horrid Henry and the Football Fiend was the most borrowed children's book from libraries in 2009. The most borrowed children’s fiction title, Francesca Simon’s Horrid Henry and the Football Fiend (Orion Children’s), was borrowed nearly 65,000 times.

Francesca was also one of the top five (adult and children) most borrowed authors last year with her books borrowed over 1 million times.
