A place called your local library and your local bookshop are the two best places to find Horrid Henry!
Because that's how many more my publishers have asked me to write.
Henry
I've always written, so it's a bit like asking me, what made you walk, or what made you love books!
First of all, well done for finishing a story.  That's often the hardest part, finishing what you start.  Second, it's very difficult to get published, so why not submit your story to your school magazine, or any short story writing competitions.  There's a book called the Children's Writers' and Artists' Yearbook, which has loads of brilliant advice and information about publishing a book.
I have been influenced by so many books it's impossible for me to cite just one!  I've been very influenced by Robert Graves' books about Greek Mythology, as well as by Andrew Lang's Fairy Tales.  I can't say that any book has changed my outlook on life, I'm afraid.
Zippy.
Hmmmm, the zoo....I will certainly think about it.  And I hope one day to visit New Zealand, I have never been.
At the Edinburgh Festival on August 29th.
Yes, except for aggressive ones being walked without a lead.
I love it!
I think Horrid Henry and the Football Fiend has sold the most copies, closely followed by Horrid Henry's Nits.
Well, Shanti is pretty lazy, so we go for short walks, or I chase her around the house.  Mostly she likes to lie on top of the sofa, or under my desk.
You can always send these care of my publisher.  Orion Children's Books/ 5 Upper St Martin's Lane/ London WC2H 9EA
France!

I already have!  The stories are called Horrid Henry's Perfect Day and Perfect Peter's Horrid Day.  The first one appears in Horrid Henry, and the second in Horrid Henry and the Secret Club.

Well, Henry decided to see what being perfect felt like.  Peter was unhappy because his usual role in the family as the perfect one was being taken over, which made him unhappy and uncomfortable, so Peter gradually became more horrid as that's where the "vacancy" was.
I also think it sounds like a lot of fun, and yes, I would love to turn it into a real game.  No specific plans at the moment, but you never know...
Yes!  There will be at least five more.  The newest one is Horrid Henry Rocks, published at the beginning of September 2010.
What a scary idea.  I don't think so, it's impossible for me to imagine Henry grown up.
